My Brother-in-law and I are trying to get together and do some steelhead fishing. He lives around Cleveland (Hudson). I was curious if the Ohio streams are good for steelhead or should we try for the Erie streams? I heard OH has a good spring run. I never fished for steelhead in OH and thought it might be something different. My son and I want to fly fish, he wants to spin fish. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you,

Not really the season right now for them. I hear good things about Ohio side just stay there and find some spots if you don’t like then move on to the next.

I'd way rather fish Connie in Ohio then any pa stream, pa is blown out imo to many guys and the fishing is sub par , Ohio is tougher fishing but less people , don't expect 20-100 fish days like you can have on elk call be a bull****er but in had 100 fish days on elk once to be exact it was incredible we also walked 20 miles

PA. used to be the best but not now,I would take Ohio now,but the fish are back in the lake now,the best time for Ohio is Nov.until early May.I like the Ohio streams better than Pa. over all, they are wider and longer.
