Lots of reports are coming in from people in the northern midwest.  Apparently, there are some guys already ice fishing with it being some of the earliest ice they've seen.  The weather prognosticators have been calling for a colder than average winter in the northwest PA region.  Here's hoping for some early safe ice...I'm stoked to walk on some hardwater again.  

I'm with ya!! Snow falling in NWPA lately has me dreaming of catching some fish on the hardwater, although I know its still a ways away. I don't care for the half azzed sketchy ice so I'm hoping for a cold winter. Bring it on and good luck!

Conneaut lake was locked up this afternoon when I drove by. Got my blood pumping for the ice season, but back to the 40's next week according to the weather man. Mother nature you're a cruel beeatch......stop teasing us ice fishermen
