I've just recently begun using Baitrunner Reels and am a little skeptical of all the different brands out there... About 3 weeks ago I purchased a new COONOR TeamFreeder Reel at a Fleamarket for $20 and have had it out a few times since then. (I know it's a China - Off Brand) but the reel has been working flawlessly thus far.. Then the other day I got on Ebay and picked up a pair of (China - Off Brand) Dr.fish Hercules 2 Reels for $60. Only issue I can see right now is that they have plastic pieces that connect the bail wire to the reel. I haven't tried these 2 out yet, so no idea of how they'll actually preform. I'm thinking of saving up a little now and buying myself a pair of Okuma Avenger Baitfeeders next.... So my question is; What is everyone's favorite Baitrunner Reels and why do you like them so much? Also, do any of you have any experience with the reels I've purchased?

I have 2 avenger okuma and no issues. Like them both alot.

I'm new to the entire "Bait-Feeder" thing... I only bought the Coonor Reel because it was only $20 and has 11+1 ball bearings. I hear people talk all the time about (the more bearings - the smoother the reel), But like you, I happen to like the Okuma Avengers ( I have 3 of the regular ones )… And I can honestly say that ( Thus Far ) the Coonor Reel has been working flawlessly! Then I bought the 2 Hercules reels mostly because they were the same price for 2 as i'd have paid for 1 Okuma. And they also have 11+1 BB.... 
Though after close inspection of the Herc's; I think I should have just bought an Okuma... LOL... only time will tell though.

Shimano Baitrunners are pretty solid reels..........been using them for years w/o complaint. Real workhorses that have held up to use/abuse without fail.
 

I also tried a BPS baitfeeder reel this spring it seemed solid but was too bulky for the rod I bought for it so I bought the second Okuma.

I just use 9' UglyStik GX2's for my baitfeeders.

Spinning reels with a free spool option on them designed for live bait fishing. Basically the same function as a clicker on a baitcaster.

Bait Runner / Bait Feeder... same thing. Just depends on which company is making them.... Basically it's just 2 drags on one reel.... But a great thing for any type of bait fishing!
