Flocks of turkeys out my way look robust......same with the deer.

Any leftover standing corn or beans, around 1/2 hr before dark, are covered up with both almost every evening.

Over 40 deer in the one field (beans) last week that I zoomed by on my way to pick up my daughter from V-ball practice.  Next field over had 30 some turks in it....

In a different field (corn) a couple miles away, there were over 20 deer and 15-20 turkeys.  Don't have permission to hunt these farms unfortunately.  Hoping they spread back out once it starts to green up and me and the kiddies can get a crack at the gobblers...

The pointer pups turn a year old in May. Spring training will then begin.
