Anybody else hate early season when you think you have them figured out and patterned then they decide to switch it up and disappear on you! Bring on the snow!!
 

lol...yep it all depends on where the food is i guess.
Here is some info for this area:
27 August - The early goose hunting season is September 2- 25. Hunting is prohibited at Shenango in developed recreation areas, restricted areas, and the West Lake Road Propagation Area. The only exceptions are the Mahaney Recreation Area and Chestnut Run Swim Beach, which are open for goose hunting from sunrise to 10:00 am. There's a roost lake a couple hundred yards from my house, holding probably 150 or so geese right now.  Every morning they fly a different direction it seems.  Three days ago, they were in a cut wheat field across the road from my house, just a couple hundred yards from the roost.  Two days ago, they were in a field a mile to the east.  Yesterday, they were in a field 2 miles to the west.  This morning they're not in any of those fields. 
 
Haven't done much intentional goose hunting the past couple of years - will throw out a few floaters when I'm duck hunting and one or two September hunts.  Might head out Monday just to get out, but I sure don't like my odds of being in the right place at the right time. 

Weather, new cut fields, and pressure change everything.
 
A long time ago I had my eyes on a roost which wasn't my first option to use.  But, on one of my checks ( day before the season started), I saw the local kids mowing em down with rifles...  Buddy and I followed em and they were caught and reported to the pgc. 

Birds hit a different field again this morning but the water spots are growing each day
