i used to stay at Ole Bull campground but know i found a place to camp out which is free, close to the creek, first come first serve.

i figured with the warm weather there should be some dry fly action besides the peace and quietness.

phill said the water in kettle is already 51 degrees. he also said if the warm weather keeps up the hatches will be real early this year and may be gone by the first day of trout.
lots of stoneflies but didn't see any BWO when i was up. watch out for hitch-hiking ticks.

ya im heading up the weekend of the 30th. if the water is that warm already its possible to start seeing hendrickson and some quills. crazy, hopefully it doesnt continue on this trend (weather that is) kettle was the lowest ive ever seen it last summer. 2 trips i didnt even get to wet a line because water was well over 70 at hammersley fork confluence. and even up around cross fork it was pushing 70+.

cross fork the water was just right as far as depth. kettle was running on the high side with good color though. should be a good weekend or two coming up.

Hey guys my names mike. Me and my dad are making a trip up to potter county this weekend. Were going to spend some time on Kettle Creek. Im looking for some tips on what areas are most productive, and spots you guys suggest to fish? any help would be appreciated.
THanks, Mike
