Me and a few buddies was lookin to make a camping trip to northeastern pa this spring since none of us ever been there. Anyone have any suggestions on campgrounds or cabin rentals and where to go ? were mostly goin to do some trout fishing this spring, a nearby by baitshop and bar and resturant would be nice too and any suggestions on some good fishing waters would be appreciated.

Slavens Country Cupboard also has cabins and trout streams across the street

The Grand Canyon of PA (Pine Creek gorge) is somewhat over that way. If I remember correctly Wellsboro seemed like a real nice town. Two state parks in the immediate area, Colton Point State Park and Leonard Harrison State Park.

Hickory Run State Park and fish the Lehigh Gorge.  Should be some shops and bars near White Haven.

Fish the Delaware River for big wild trout. Stay at Soaring Eagle Campground, located right at Kellam's Bridge. Go up river and fish at the Hancock Bridge and also up to Balls Eddy.

PA and NY have recipricol fishing right on the main branch of the Delaware. Go in Mid-May and try for those BIG WILD RAINBOWS.

This one is a no-brainer. Best wild trout fishing in the Eastern US.
