While I was away I made my wife buy me a new camera because I always scam her's . What I wanted was a waterproof camera that can take underwater pic's. I have heard all but good things from this (China) camera and it is on sale at best buy for $179.00.

Some minor downside things are :
You would need to buy an XD (not SD) memory card (extra).
It only takes a rechargeable battery.

I have destroyed no less the 7 digital cameras that were NOT waterproof.
My friends have this model and shown me underwater shots as well as video. SWEET stuff. A good deal if someone was in the market.

anything waterproof is essential when you're fishing, i've been lookin' for something new.
my buddy has one that is similar (aside from being waterproof) that take really nice pictures and Very good video w/sound. I'll have to check that out when the wallet is not quite so tight.
