Anyone fishing Pymy? North end or south end? Docks still in? Any good?

Fished Saturday, North was rough marked fish but no takers (NE wind), moved from area to area fishing different spots and made it south, caught several walleye and some nice 10-11.5" perch. Tightlines

i was thinking about going up this weekend with the weather forecast being so nice. i already put the boat away for the season. what do you think would be more productive...........shore fishing the main lake or the outflow/river? my target fish can change with whatever is hitting best. thanks in advance

I fished the south end last Saturday from shore using small floating jig heads and weight less minnies. I caught 8 perch & 6 crappies. It didn't matter to me what I caught. 

fished off the jamestown marina docks with my dad & sister this morning.  was very slow.  we caught a few gills and a perch.  i used my showdown off the dock but it didn't work very well - maybe transducer was too close to the dock but the signal wasn't great.  anyway, no fish fry tonight.  anyone ever try using their sonar off a dock or pier? 

I take it Norm closed down the bait shop for the year?

if you are using sonar in shallow water, try turning down the sensitivity...

Anything happening down in pymy? Was thinking about taking the Jon boat out around tuttle. Any info would be great!!

I use my vex off the boat all of the time. I have tried it off the pier but didn't mark a thing. I think a floating dock would be the best bet.

i saw at gander mountain a castable wireless fisfinder, you cast it like a lure, reel it back in slow, and the info is transmitted to an lcd watch screen... you can scan for fish as far as you can cast!
pretty cheap too!
