Due to the nice weather the wife and I decided to take the dogs for a walk along the shores of Tamarack. I found a rod & Box.
If anyone lost one there in the last..............

So did you find the reel? I don't see it in the pic with the rod and wondered if it rusted off or had been removed at some point.

Actually found the rod and box about 1/2 mile apart. I was carrying the box back when I found the rod so I used my cell to take the pic. Left the rod lay where it was and then found a reel that looked like it would have came from the rod about 75 yds up the bank.

would love to know the story behind the equipment... if they were lost all together... seems a bit too much cooincidence for it to be two seperate incidents. Fishing archeology instead of Egypt archeology!

Put it up on Ebay, attach the word "vintage" to it and you'll probably make $50. More if ya cleaned it up.

glad that someone is cleaning up our lakes and shore line.tired of seeing trash and stuff left behind.
