Lake will be a zoo this weekend, Saturday at least. 70+ boat bass tournament out of Snodgrass, and Walleye tournament somewhere (not sure how many boats or where it launches)not to mention people just out for a day of fishing, should make it like bumper boats.

wouldnt be surprised if there are 90+ teams for the walleye tournament.... there's also a musky tournament to add to the excitement..

What Walleye Tournament you talking about? Pymatuning Lake Assoc. is having one May 19th. Guess there is a Crappie Tournament happening also.

Went out last night. The bite was slow got around 15 eyes only 2 were keepers caught some really nice perch. Lost a really nice eye at the boat. All this with a dead battery. My fault left the key on and i had to jerry rig my trolling Battery to the cranking battery. It was a pain. I guess i will add one more check to my list to check before walking away from the boat.

It sure was a Zoo Saturday. Fished outta Espyville launch and if there was a Perch and Bluegill Tourney going on I mighta placed. Perch bite was good with most being 10 inches and over. All Perch caught on Nightcrawlers on the bottom in 8-9 foot of water.

Good to see the panfish bite is coming on strong too. Definately a hot lake right now, itll be interesting to see what all the pressure does to them at one time. Theyre getting used to the beating again im sure..
