Yeah you will pass it on the way.  It's the first bridge downstream of the dam.  There's a parking area right there, it's a little park.  There's a trail that goes from there all the way up, and there's a trail on the opposite side too.  It's a little tricky in spots(downed trees and such)  and about a mile hike, but it's not bad if you're fishing your way up.  Definitely bring water, you'll be thirst by the time you get up to the dam. Other than the dam you'll mostly just run into smallies, with the occasional cat, carp, panfish, and maybe a surprise trout.  Fishing below the dam though everythings game.

Oh and if you don't want to do the hike, there's a parking area at the dam and then you have to walk down a gated road, short walk nothin long.

No pike,call me a Sally but i did see couple of the biggest spiders iv ever seen.........my buddy got nailed by a brown recluse last week not a fan of the 8 legged guys

Fished it today from about 8 unltil 1.  My brother and I caught a couple cats right below the dam, a nice smallmouth bass, and 3 carp.  Then we fished down by the bridge for only like 45min and caught another bass, had a decent trout on, and one more carp.  I fly fished most of the time.  Carp on the fly rod is very addicting!!  It can be frustrating when they ignore your flies, but it's very rewarding once you land a monster.  The cats and one of the bass were on minnows.  I'm sure we would have gotten more fish if our minnows would have stayed alive and if we quit targeting those picky carp.  Still a fun time out though.
