I have no idea how to get images in here.  But I tried to attach it.  LMK if you can read that.  It's a FB post from last month on the erie stillhead page, regarding the landowner posting his property.

Yeah I read it. Needed my glasses but I read it. No worries I never really fished there and wasn't planning to.

Again any news about the Trestle being still posted??

Here's your answer, copied from Erie Area Fishing Reports page 10/8/22 :

"We were kicked out of high trestle by land owner who proceeded to tell us that it is post from elk park bridge to railroad trestle on both sides. I did hear the stories of the past about the high trestle but never had any issues and did not see posters. Does anyone know if that is posted."

"found my own answer. PFBC map link below https://www.fisherie.com/...s/LowerElkCreekMap.pdf It is private ground below high trestle.(It is posted!!) The hole right above Elk Park Bridge according to PFBC map is public access. I looked at who is the owner of the land that fishermen access, and it is Mercyhurst College(the side everyone uses.)"

Have you been at the tubes over past few weeks? Are they doing some type of project there?

If you live in PA, believe that's incorrect. Only 'navigable waterways' are public right of way. None of the Erie Tribs are considered 'navigable'--few streams, even those that some 'navigate' w Kayaks these days actually are.

Erie tribs not navigable. Property owners owns stream bed.
Yes they’re doing a project above tubes. Lots of digging and silt in water during the day.

The high trestle bridge is train trestle,  accessed formerly off North Creek Rd.  The Elk Park Rd. Bridge is still public access.

We have our tipping point with this mess! Time for the state to wake up and really look at this nightmare. Lottery /voucher system to keep out of state people out of our PA streams. Overcharge them a price off the charts so that they either pay or stay away.
Local landowners keep posting the property!
