I was in my stand yesterday about 4:00 pretty slow , rattled a few times and nothing so waited 15 minutes & did it again. I look and see this big bodied deer coming my way didn't see a rack so thought OK maybe a big doe anyhow it kept coming in, I decided I'm taking it, need meat. Throw safety off Xbow waiting to get a good shot as it was walking down the path past me it stopped to nibble on some twigs giving me a good view of it's head ,it had a little rack not even above the ears maybe a Y or 4 pt.....Boy that could have been bad !!!  sure glad I waited

Antler Restrictions are BS. 

AR's are great!  Just sayin'.  (even though I have yet to see an AR legal buck from stand yet this year).

Put a camera out, or 4. Just sayin'

Don't really mind the AR just don't like making mistakes like I almost did but good news ...I didn't. Saw a nice shooter tonight chasing some doe in the field when I left the woods try it again in the morning rut on for sure.

Getting ready to head out. Like BigWag was saying, it's on for sure. I got 10 or 12 new shooters showin up for the party. A few wall hangers too.

Sounds like everyone on here is a trophy hunter....They gotttttttttttta be big bucks baby!! They're everywhere!  That's what antler restrictions are doing best.  Turning all hunters into trophy hunters and making everyone fight over who's buck is bigger. Can't we just go and enjoy the outdoors anymore?  Seems like everyone has their own hunting show these days. I'd be happy as hell to shoot a little 4 point.  Yeah the big ones are out there an i might get lucky but you cant eat those horns!
