I know I should be there but deer hunting and a cold day on the river has left me pretty **** sick. Its amazing how people go crazy up there even over zombie salmon. And its disgusting to see those same zombies on the fillet tables. Must be the alcohol

They raised it to 285 yesterday at 8:00 I think and it will stay at 285 until at least sunday midnight according to the  USFG site.  The first release was only supposed to be 3 hours.  It stopped raining here yesterday afternoon.  Could have been runoff or maybe the bumped it up higher for an hour to clean stuff out and get stuff moving.  With the rain tonight it be 4 to 500 tomorrow.  We will see.

well that would be great.
makes one think that dec and brookfeild are cooperating for the best of the fishery.
especially having the higher flow over the weekend making the sight fishing less productive.

F work, I can't take it. Getting too dam ideal for me. I'll have to try and sneak in a  day next weekend, crowds or not. Tying steel flies every night is making it worse.  Maybe you guys will develop a tolerance for these colds and get your dose over with early.  I can't stop thinking about those dam steelhead!  Bring on the weather!

Sounds good, Clint. I'm doing similar- stones 8-12. About finished with the egg/spawn  collection for the year.  That means I'll run out of blue about March, on a day when they're all running big and that's all they want. It's not funny, because it's true.  Well , it is funny if you're fishing with me and you have some blue. Happened last year and still haunts me.  HT was fishing above me and killing them, he lands a few beauties and feels sorry for me. He's said blue to me so many times he's turning it.  He lets me take his place. I tie on my last blue egg and drift it into a  little depression behind a boulder in the middle of a good seam. Sure as ****, first drift line stops and I raise the rod just enough. The fish raises up off the bottom and takes off across river. Bright Chrome and over 3 feet.  The guys across the river scream like little girls, or was that my echo?, anyway, I overtighten my **** and my line hand simultaneously  and it's all over.  The guys across the river  are all  "Man,  that was a big fish", making me feel so much better.
I better tie more blue.
