Was up to the res a couple of weeks ago- Low does NOT begin to describe it- dont believe a Hurricane or tropical storm will even begin to take up the slack.
 Am sure we will only get local runoff on the Sr- that sad it may well make some decent flows for a while- Wont be for long though without the res emptying out over time.

Last I heard they are talking about the perfect storm hitting NY. Rain is good seeing what we have been through this past summer but to see a storm like last year won't be good. The local creeks and rivers took a beating and there was a lot of wash out and it hurt the Battenkill they did lots of work to start fixing it for the future and I would hate to see it go to waste. So the rain will be good but in moderation.

If you get blown out by Sandy, learn to fish the Sandys!  Too high water on the Salmon generally means enough to draw fish into the other tribs.  They ran with minimal flows on a lot of smaller waters around Central Lake Ontario  last week, and a runoff event will just pull more.
