Launching out of Jamestown tomorrow. Initial plan is to follow slabs advice and find the 20-25' break (thanks slab). Be using minnows crawlers & gulp. Any other helpful advice?

Fished from 7:30 to 5:00, not a single Crappie or Eye, marked lots of fish just couldn't convince them to bite. Picked up lots of cats with a crawler on a floating jig head drug along the bottom.
Wasn't the day I had been hoping for but was still fun.
Tight lines & God bless.

Was there today too. Fishing was tougher today than the last time i was there. Worked hard to get our crappies, gills, and perch. Fished from 8ft to 16ft over brushpiles and old stumps and got 25 today. 18 of which were crappies. Fished close to ten diffrent spots to get them.

lol....tuesday afternoon....weird...deep water, kept marking suspended fish (17.5 to 20 ft deep, fish were around 13.5 to 15.5 deep), was trolling some harnesses on the bottom so I put out my sidewinder planers with a 3/4 oz inline sinker and a harness back about 75-85 ft behind the planer, (trying to get those suspended fish), I managed to catch about 7 catfish (nice ones too), all on the planers, these have to be the suspended fish I was marking, there is no way @ 1.5 to 1.8 mph a 3/4 oz lead gets to the bottom in 20 ft with 30 lb braid.  One little walleye and a small perch too, all on the planers, nothing on the bottom.
