One reason I hate 12, boats! They are like a canoe. Wear a life jacket if you go in one. The guy was my age but twice my size. He was quite exhausted and was going under. The boat was upside down and submerged under water. The 3 Amish boys made a good toss with their cushion. I threw my jacket on as I went across the lake in preparation of diving in. Glad I didn,t have to!
By the way...those boys had 5 bass in their cooler and said they had many hits. They gave up on the walleyes. I should have broke out my bass gear...lol

How did he flip? Last time I was up, I found two trees (presumably still rooted) in about 11 FOW about halfway between Manning and the bay before Tuttle Beach. Only about a foot of them were showing above water. They weren't marked or anything. If someone would have hit those, they definately would be in trouble.

They were having motor trouble. Guess when he pulled the rope to start he lost balance and flipped the boat. They both were large guys.

i launched out of snodgrass and fished a little north down to the dam.   a couple walleye, some perch and a few gills were all we got.  Fished mostly in the 14-16' range.  had better days, but a lot worse too..

I fished the southend too. Caught a lot of crappies with a couple gills and perch thrown in too. Kept 23 over 10".  Found them in 8ft, 6ft down, around wood. Tried deep with only a couple. They hit small plastic baits under a float.

maybe I should rent a pontoon from Jamestown instead of Espyville. Sounds like most of the fish are being caught in the lower end of the lake.

Just got back from a 3 day stay at Pymy. Fishing was good considering time of year and the low lake coniditions. Our 3 day walleye total was 15 between the two of us. Eleven or twelve were keeper sized the biggest going about 21 inches. Some taken deep in 19 feet others shallower around 10 feet. A lot of perch and gills mixed in with a few cats and crappies. Worms seemed to be the best for us. All fish were caught in the south end. Would have kept the eyes but the freezer is too full from Erie so they were released after being unhooked!
