I'm going on the 11th with some folks from church. We are renting a pontoon. Please let me know where you went and how you did as soon as you get back on the tenth. Thanks!

Has anyone been up recently? I'm going out with some guys from church on 8/11 and it would be nice to have an update.

In a nutshell; Low & slow.
North end launches are about useless unless you're in a flat bottom.
Specifically, if you go out of Manning, watch for the rock(s) to the right side of the dock.

We are renting a pontoon out of Espyville. Most of the guys that I'm going with haven't been fishing in a while, if ever, and I'd like to show them a good time. Probably won't matter to them what we catch. Any walleye would be a bonus. I'd like to get into some crappie and perch.

If all else fails theres always plenty of carp an catfish haha

Might have to find some cats! At least they are edible.
