Before they hatched............
Latest forecast is only calling for  1 to 1.5 inches by Tuesday night.

The local forecast calls for even less.  More to the south less to the North.  This one shows  only 1/4 inch by Tuesday at 2:00

Clint I'll take that. I wouldn't want to see any long term over 1,000.
900 is fine with me . I don't think well be seeing any 335 for awhile yet

Well, ive been checking a few different sources and it seems as if we're falling in the 2-4 range... remember though, the ground is saturated and water tables are up... it should be substantial if we get that spread over a few days... nothing crazy but it should bring up the levels... as you said and i said also a few days ago... we will see...

On the other hand thanks for the report earlier clint... happy birthday charlie and hope youre hooking them... jack, be safe as well as anyone else in the storm path... tuna, sorry you missed out buddy

I think most of the rain  is forcasted to be coming in Weds to Friday ,  both of these  forcasts are up to Tuesday.   I hope  they get just the right amount of rain to give us a healthy level in the   res , but not  so much to cause  people in the area  any  hardship .

I agree DB the ground is saturated and any we get will run off into the res.  If we get 2 to 4 the res will fill up nice, if we get 1/4 inch the future patterns look good too.     We have got back into more "normal weather"  and the worse is over by far as to the lack of rain.  HT I am with you 900 is OK.   500 to 750 is nice.  If it is not a blow out I may hit the LFZ with every other ****HAT  this weekend.  Might even run up Friday after work.    There are other options too.........   A trip to Bass Pro may even be in the works............

One can grow weary of the weather guy predicting Armageddin and then having a sprinkle actually show up. It gets old.
Last week this was a 300 year storm with 80 mph winds and up to 10 inches of rain here- now its said to be about 40 to 60  mph and 3 inches .
  Have to wait and see.

Well, its supposedly going to be 80 mph winds once it makes landfall on Jersey... couple those with the high tide, storm surge, and then 20 + foot waves.... sounds like a recipe for disaster down there... I've spent quite some time in Long Beach Island since I was very young...i have to say I fear for what might be in store for that island and surrounding areas... then there's a storm surge that supposedly going to hit them out the Hudson... the record is 11 feet... let's hope it's not that high this time around... stay safe everyone

The wind has picked up considerably in the last few hours with heavy gusts.  Light rain has fallen and the power is still on.  It's commonplace for the power to go out in my area so the longer is stays on the better.

suposed to be right in the cross hairs here
calling for 5-10 inches of rain and steady 50mph gusts to 70+
could be fun
thankfully the water is down around here, cause with that much rain...it wont be for long :)
