Not the fish, the run, the upper part of the DSR.  I did see a couple of salmon in the water, and based on the fight, had one on for a minute or so.

I really only fished the barrel because there was a spot where i knoew I could get a fair drift through holding water, but if I had seen opernings downstream, I;d have walked to them.  But the only wilderness typre water I saw this weekend did not have fish going through while I was there, or they put muzzles on for the entire stretch.

The SR is as much a wilderness as lower Manhattan. I don't put blinders on when I'm there.

Sometimes there are more animals on the Sr than there are out in' the wilderness.
