Looking for a stream that might hold "native Brook Trout" in Western PA. Catch and release is not problem, I do not keep fish anyway. I'm not allergic to walking and find the woods more comforting than a parking lot. Any info will be welcome.

If you're not allergic to research...You're probably not going to have a lot of guys giving you info on this subject.

Yep, I agree. Not too many guys will give info up, but native brookies are plentyful in Pa. A little research can go a long way.

I'm gonna send you a pm also.  I'm not giving up any secrets though! lol.

For everyone else, as said already research and exploration can go a long way.  Reference "the lists" hit a handful of streams in a day, hike a little, and you just might be rewarded.

I was told that Indian Creek that runs along Rt 31 near 711 N holds native brookies. This is down the road from Hidden Valley towards Acme. I never got a chance to check it out, but driving by, it does appear to hold natives. If you do go , Good Luck!
