Checked out Edinboro today. 3 inches of slush on top of 1.5 inch of solid black ice. Very dangerous and ppl need* to stay off.... this was on January 22, 6:45 pm. Lots of cracks thats allowing water to flow through at a fast rate. Don't know the rate of solidifying and hardening, but my guess is once that slush freezes solid, should be ready. could be by saturday.... Edinboro should be one of the fastest lakes to freeze safely, so stay off for now!!!!!
