Hello All,
I have a Hummingbird with the the Navionics Hotmaps Premium chip. I have about 25 days left on my free updates. I recently updated in late November and the update was supposed to have Pymy with the 1' contours. After updating my chip and traveling up to Pymy I was not getting the 1' contours. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it. Also does anyone else have the premium edition and with the 1' contours working?

Depending on what model bird you have you might have to choose your depth graduations...My 897 you don't have to, but my old 787 you did have to choose.  Make sure you've chosen the correct data file too.

Bogey I have the 897HD DI and SI. Where do you choose the data file in menu options?

Sorry jmat, I was wrong.  I just ran out and checked, and my current 'bird is a 957 and it automatically selects the SD card chart it looks like.  On one of the previous models I had, you had to select which data region file you wanted to use, and if the lake you were on wasn't in that area it would default to the unit's basemap.

If you don't have an option under [menu] [chart] [data file] then you are good to go.

My navionics card has 1' contours as well, but on the north end of the lake the depth contours are so gradual and uniform that it doesn't seem to show breakline much at all.  On the south end it is much better, although, I still don't think they're 1'.  On other lakes, like PI bay, or Chautauqua, the 1' depth contours work just fine.

I am just showing 10' contours on mine. I may have to contact Navionics customer Service

Yikes!  Now that's a problem.  I would give them a holler...maybe Hbird too.
