Twobob, a while back i was crowned as the king of run on sentence by an old time poster... i guess ive been dethroned!!! Lol

Maybe 2500 is wishfull thinking on my part... hopefully some thunderstorms will race through next week with the sudden warm spell and make my wish come true... the river could use a good washing... and brookfield has done dumber things in the past ...party on garth!!!

no doubt on brookfield but with the longer colder nights they would be passing on profits from expanded electric production.
that i think they have a full understanding of.

Also remember and I may be out in left field on this, that there is a "sweet spot for power production and it is not all that much.   750 seems to stick in my head as the # at which they produce peak power.   Anything above this is just water over the dam.

well i'm certainly no authority on power production but i do know that back in the before timesthey used to cut off the spigot at5-6  pm ,down to about 150 cfs, and throw open both gates to the tune of 1800 cfs every morning around 5 am in time for the daily house lights and factories to get chugging .
i would guess they weren't running 1100 cfs more than they needed to turn the highest profit that they could.
of course i believe they redid the turbines since then which may have changed things.

TB I  don't really know,  I  am thinking I heard it at some time from somebody whom I cannot remember (and my memory is not what it used to be).   My dad used to work for Nimo and it could have been from one of his buddies.   It may have been that after 750 if you go to 1500 you do  not necessarily double output of power, but again I may be way off base too.

Trev while I agree there was enough to plow (and it seems that the Pulaski area may have gotten about 6 more inches than me).  You may be fine.   My 8 inched settle to 4 and with the warmer temps coming it will go.  Andy is up that way so he knows better, but again you could be fine.   If you have a gravel drive like me plowing is tough on it and I try to wait until the ground is frozen if at all possible.

Aint it funny how a half mile or so can make a big difference... You guys missed out clint!!! Lol :)

I plowed a solid 16"s yesterday afternoon... pulaski last night still had 12 in unplowed areas... richland had reports of 14.5 but im sure some areas got more... the tug got 20+ in some areas!!! Cold temps for a few days with a supposed heat wave next week

Thats good news for Steel- less pressure.
Life got in the way last night and my hopes of getting up for a couple of  days got squashed.
Politics and early  budget projections demand attention resulting in a variety of meetings and then more meetings. As finance Chair its my job to be on top of these issues and 'gone fishin' just dont cut it sometimes- lol.
Life is full of little choices and Politics is a passion too --so be it.
