With the tropical weather, we had to gain a thousand feet to escape the heat.  There was still a couple of feet of snow at 3,000 and up.  Lye Brook Wilderness, Vermont looking up the Mettowee  Valley. We camped off a  trail that leads to some of my favorite brookie fishing. We're so glad we went and got to see the fog in the valley this morning.  Cheap fun.  Next fun will hopefully involve fins and flies.

This is my second one, Gerry. The first went 16 years before retirement. Current one is 5.  Hurricanes, blizzards, etc...... don't phase them with proper pitching.
I've gave them some good testing....

We did make it down  in time for Sunday's games. I'm sorry I missed Denver/Balt., though.   I'll be torn between the Pats and Ray Lewis going out in the style he deserves next week.  If I had the money, I bet you could buy something that would work, Jack.  Nancy complained we'd miss the games , but it was worth it and she was happy we went.  My calves are sore as hell from humping a heavy pack in snow up that mountain.
