went up the salmon on sat and sun with my brother   sat went 1 for 5 new guy on the river helped him out he had a good day and so did we nice fresh fish only draw back was  two other guys came up and went to the other side of the river from us and must have snagged at least 7 or eight apiece none were brought in  though it ruined it for the rest of the day these were older guys who should know better.   sun fished for a couple hours to cold went 1 for 3  all on sucker spawn line and pole froze up  we left on monday and missed all the snow coming in. 
Keep my brother in your prayers he's my best friend and is going in for heart surgery on the 1st  HOPE the next trip will be in march with him

Sarge awesome man... nothing like winter steelhead... too bad im so busy as i have heard nothing but good reports from the river. Back in the day it was a given to stay on the water all day long no matter what the weather was... now that my son is coming of age im gonna have to try my best to instill that dedication in him... prayers for your brother

Good news  my brother came through the operation great  thanks for the prayers  now maybe we can head up the 18th if the weather warms up  and he is up to it  thank you lord for keeping my best friend up and running (well walking at least) hope to see you all on the river some day
