2012-13 was a fantastic season on ice.. While I didn't chase the pike like normal this year , it was great to be back on the big lake chasing trout after a non-freeze 11-12 season..
Now FINALLY I'm DONE, Done, done on the ice.. Going to pressure wash all the fish slime from my gear today and pack it up for 2013-14 season... CANT WAIT !!!!
 
A little break next weekend to get some things in order around the house before the open water season kicks into full gear again.. Man , gotta love NY for the opportunities it offers ..
Gonna be making the SR trip to fish Fri-3-22 if anyone is around and wants to share some water ..

HT,if I was n't going to be in Ohio 3/22 I would try to get up there,but family comes first.Of course I might chase the Steel while out there If I get out I'll give a report.

Fridays I'm stuck in the yoke pulling the lunch wagon to make a buck.

Birthday weekend for me, and my wife wants to go fishing on 3/22, but it'll have to be a daytrip with one still in school, so I'll have to pass on the river that weekend.  If the ice is off the little finger lakes, I'll be shore fishing.

Hey lucky you still fish?
Was waiting to hear if anything happened yesterday pm.
Don't have to punch the clock till 11 tomorrow and am thinking of steeling a couple hours in the elevator shaft  first.
But not if the run is over.

Fished Green point  today and brought  46 keepers home.  I kept 7 inches and up.  Most were 8 t o9 inches, but there were a few hawgs.   Went alone and was running all day.   Fish wanted perch eyes and fatheads the most.   Bite was VERY light but they were hungry.   Caught a few that  had minnows in their mouth  along with the one on my hook.     Ice was 9 inches but getting bad. 

Probably it for me too on the ice too.
HT got to work on that weekend.
 

HT- Is that trip up to the SR going to be a run and gun one day event?

So far i'm looking at fishing first light friday .. If the fishing warrants I can do Sat as well.. If not a run & gun..
