aint it all relative

I had a Mitchell 300 and a Garcia rod that a friend borrowed so that his girlfriends son could go fishing.  That was thirty five years ago, never saw the rod or reel again. 

Still use my old Mitchell 300 on the noodle for Steel in late fall-reliable- reliable-have never worked on the drag other than to clean it and its perfect. Did have some spring work done though.

Nice show at SPAC friday night.  The Allman Brothers opened and did not disappoint.  Santana was equally entertaining, they were joined by Warren Haynes and others from the ABB during their set.  The Gods smiled down upon us without a rain drop falling through the concert.  A nice night with friends and family, a cold beer (or two) and a good cigar.

You aint kidding jack... i feel bad for the birds. They are chirping away in the snow covered trees... the past two weeks ive seen large flocks of geese flying south. It would be nice is it sprung soon but apparently its not

I started seeing robins in my yard a month ago.  At this rate the trout streams in my area are going to be blown out and cold come April 1.
