The only thing that would have made it a better day was someone to share the water with. I am getting much better detecting the more subtle takes that I missed last year. Seeing the line twitch or feeling that take/ tic that is not the bottom.
For some reason I had a few fouled today, 2 were obviously in the motor they were gone, just pointed and held, no need to chase a fish and hold up folks fishing with one in the tail. The other 2 I got close and saw the fly in it's cheek and one was under the jaw. Maybe those were good hits and got them on the hook set.
Lots of difficulty landing them on that side without a net man and I got alot of fish close today, but the hooks popped when I tried to tail them or net them.
