Is there still ice on the lake?  If so hows the weather been?  Any ideas when it will be clear?  Looking to get up there and troll for some browns.

After April 1 you should be good to go.

Selkirk shores yesterday had no ice in sight

Is there a boat launch at Selkirk Shores? Has anyone been catching down there off the pier?

Visit www.nysparks.com.  You should be able to find the information you need.

   The pier is often hit or miss and am not aware of a launch in Selkirk- The boat guys are seen doing OK some days trolling  a couple of hundred yards out.-
   There is a launch at Pine Grove about  a mile North East of Selkirk in whats pretty much the mouth of the Estuary..Believe there is a fee at the launch.

Pine Grove is part of Selkirk or at least connected by a road with the cottages on it.

These are always about 1 week behind.  Piers are clear of ice, but a good blow and a cold front can change that rapidly, so BE CAREFUL out there.
