Hi everyone.  Im new to the forum and was just looking for some info on small trout streams in NWPA that have decent populations of large browns in them (either resident or migratory).  I live in western Pa and know of several (the obvious ones that have been mentioned in previous threads and the ones that Ive stumbled upon during my fishing explorations), but was wondering if there are some that Ive overlooked.  Especially off of the allegheny below kinzua or tribs to the clarion drainage.  Im sure that I could have better luck targeting the allegheny or clarion river directly, but lately Ive been having a blast sneaking around small tribs looking for a surprise lunker under the undercuts or log jams.  Any info would be appreciated!

I dont go chasing trout but I do hit the "usual" spots when I do go to fish for them. It sounds to me like you dont really need much more advise than you've already stated. Sneaking around smaller tribs to find fish sounds about the right thing to do. Id say your efforts will be rewarded when you find what your looking for. Again I have my places I like to go to and thats about it. Good luck and have fun doing it.

And welcome to the boards....

Thanks!  I look forward to sharing some fishing info with all of you.  As a side note, for those of you who wish not to disclose stream names, locations, ect on a public forum (something that I can appreciate), please feel free to PM me.  I do have some specific info regarding this thread, if it at all matters ;)

Tight lines!
