Saturday was azure skies, moonlight in the trees and a shortening of learning the upper river by years thanks to Prof. Randy Jones. Sunday, met Clint at the O'dark Pool, by voice. Of course, it was at O'dark. Who would've thought you'd learn to recognize voices on an internet forum? Had fun, played with some nice fish, helped a very pretty Quebecois girl land her first steelhead and now have a pic that rivals April Vokey to send her. It was a very good fish, maybe 14. Awesome for a first. The Selkirk sunset was augmented by the silouhette of a Spey guy plying the Grindstone mouth. No luck that night. I opened the gate to UFZ parking lot this morning, as there was no lock on it, but it was closed. My good deed for the day. People had parked in every available unsigned space, and some were risking tickets. We sttayed for an hour and it was dead, so we left. As the weather was deteriorating, we decided to just head home. I found much annoying lead amongst the gold at the end of the rainbows. 2 good days is all I ask, so we left to preserve another good memory. HT is after them- do well, brother. I know you'll fish ethically and the way it should be done. Not many are these days. Upper river is very heavily trafficked . So what else is new?
