There is a scarey side to the whole map issue.
If they only own, as the map shows, generally up to or near the South side of the River and NOT into or in most areas even directly alongside the river -- Why say 'exclusive rights to 1,700 feet of river'. The tax map hows only a fraction of that .
Altmar is sure to have this as its biggest taxpayer and certainly as a large employer as well -not to mention it cares for the empty building that would have produced cost if it didnt sell.
SO-- if Altmar owns the river through that area and NOT a pvt owner ( dont see pvt ownership on any maps). Why wouldnt they Quit claim their River rights to this business bailing them out in hard times. ??
Am presently selling a property where we did this years ago. The sale will require two different deeds in the course of business - one for the original survey where a house is situated and a second for the adjacent quit claimed strip of land.
It will all be known sooner or later but at first glance one may well believe there is much more to be heard on the River issue.
They certainly arent spending all that money on speculation without assurances .
Have tried to get into the Palladium News article about the 'multimilion dollar hotel for fishermen' but cant read it unless I suscribe to the paper--phat chance- lol
