Got on on a small pond in the highlands today, first time on the ice since 2018. Caught some perch and a few gills, nothing spectacular but just nice to get out on the ice for a change. Looks like some cold weather in the forecast, hopefully the rest of the lakes in the area freeze up.
Anyone else been out on the ice this season?
