Hi. I am looking to use my drift boat in Pa streams preferably for steelhead fishing but all the tribs i have been to are either too small or too shallow. Looking for advice

Thanks

They're too small and too shallow.

The short answer is no.
As explained too shallow so there’s spots you would need to get out and drag. The streams aren’t navigable so as soon as you did that you’d be trespassing if not on easement area..
Lastly since they aren’t very wide you’d most likely would make someone mad floating over the holes and get into some heated situations.

if i had a drift boat i would take to NY. they have nice streams up there also a few in Ohio. PA streams are terrible. its amazing the job the Fish & Boat commission do to have a stream steelhead fishery. if we had any decent streams it would be world class.

we have some moderately decent streams, but nothing good for drift boats. usually you cant go 100 yards without the water turning to 3 inch deep shale gravel crap. I would go up to NY, there are probably some spots on the cat, i know theres really good fishing on the oswego, but that requires alot of skill, thats a dangerous river. I would go to ohio, like other people said, they have some really good streams.
