Saw a couple little bucks last Friday that were pretty fired up, but the better bucks seem to still be moving mainly at night.  Everyday from here on out should be getting progressively better.  I have vacation scheduled for the end of this week and early next week, so I'm hoping things are really going by then.

Good luck to you.

Got done Saturday evening and had to stop at my parents around 7pm.  Walked around the back of the house and there was a decent sized buck chasing 2 does around the back yard.

As Esox said, the little bucks are full blown rut here but the bigger ones are just starting. You should hit it right Esox, get this two day warming spell over and it won't take long to see how many shooters are out there. Shoot straight.

The big boys are still moving at night here in the SW, for the most part. Little bucks are cruising. Got my first picture of a good buck in daylight three days ago.

I am off the 1st-12th so somewhere in there, the switch will be flipped!

same here. not much really happening. bucks are starting to cruise alittle, but not much rut sign. not many rubs. i read a good article on FB about the rutting moon. last year it was on nov 17 which was late and had the rut spotty. this year the moon will be on nov 6 which isnt far off. the rut is about to heat up. should see alot of big bucks killed next week.

BIG WAGS
Set up my mock scrape Sunday and 51 minutes later this guy shows up along with a 6 pt.

Climbed in at 6:00 this morning and 20 minutes later had 3 doe under the ladder. Lucky for me the street light gives me some help in the dark. Heard another walking in and sure as sh-t I saw horns. Two doe jumped and moved away 20 feet quickly. He walked up and his ash was 6" from the ladder. To dark to count points. He gives a 5 second grunt and moves along. I wouldn't say chasing , but would call it pushing. My guess would be the 8. no sign of the twin 10's

Get at them boys, its going to explode.....
