Folks I know this has nothing to do with the SR region but thought Id share this information with you.. (i don't post in the other areas for personal reasons) ..
I'm pretty glad they made the purchase but the price was pretty steep..
This is my home town, home waters.. The flats is where all those striper pics I post come from and this new purchase is a good shore access fishing spot.. When I was lazy Id go there to net some bait from shore before heading out in the boat.. Seen a few shore anglers do well on the Stripers too..
The 5 mile flats is really a paradise with various Islands and free camping galore altho its mostly only accessible by boat.. Summer time it gets quite a bit of use but striper season, nah..
So here it is, Just another good job from the DEC of NY (IMO)..
