When its good take it as a gift from the Gods.  When its bad look to conquer another day.  I'll take last year's bonanza any time because I have taken the skunk on a number of occasions.

I found plenty of room.
Sometimes the number of fish matched the number of anglers.
0 TO 0
Other times I had plenty of fish and the closest person was 15 yards away and he was with me.
The nearest stranger a 100 or so away.
I do have to say that on 1 occassion when I was into thick pods of thick steelbows some salmon snagging jalorms stood in the riffs they were running shutting it down while they glassed for salmon.
That pretty much sucked but they were tstill 40-50 feet away from me.
