I noticed the algae too (how could you miss it).   I may only get out 1 or 2 more times in July, will have to make the most of it.  Spinners only  are like 59 cents at All Seasons so I am  thinking of tying some up as it is about $1 in materials for 4$$ retail.  Already got the beads and line.  I do have one almost like that though.

Hey guys sorry for late response. Tried once and somehow it got aborted
Anyway great pics as always John . Seems the fishing has been good to you wish I could say the same. Keep em coming guys , it really is great seeing everyone's adventures :)

Mine are pretty slow at the moment. Back on the graveyard shift and feel pretty dead by 7am.
Local carp creek is pretty blown out and haven't had the ambition to hit a pond/ lake.
Hoping for a change tomorrow with All the grandkids fishing - swimming at a state park :)
Agin, be well , keep the thread going as long as possible because fall is coming soon ..

A nice week in Narragansett, RI.  Hazy, hot and humid with t-storms later in the week but it was great to get away.
Booked a charter on the Sakarak and Capt. Mitch Chagnon on Tuesday and took a mix of stripers, blues and fluke.  Boated a half dozen stripers, a dozen blues trolling umbrella rigs near the south west corner of Block Island.  Nothing big but managed to put four stripers in the box along with a couple blues.  Later that morning we fished inshore for fluke near New Harbor.  The pick was steady but once again nothing big.  We boated about three dozen fluke and kept many under the Captain's commercial license.  I kept six for the dinner table (they are already gone).

Sounds great Gerry and some good eats, nothing finer than fresh seafood!
I have nothing to report as I have n't wet a line.I took the dogs for a walk along the Little Lehigh this morning and the Tricos were thick and the trout were rising but they, the trout, are dinks and I'm spoiled by the North country where they are measured in pounds instead of inches.

Today I got to fish with a good buddy John and his son John so there were 3 Johns and we kicked the snot out of the eyes. Johnny fought everyone except a few I brought in and a few his dad did. Probably boated 30 and kept are limit of 9 which I sent home with them for their family diner tonight, johnny was pretty excited about eating a fish that he cought.

still the hottest color.

small eye and some nasty alge, the bite is always best when the alge is the worst.

are catch

this is in front of the marina its a huge slick of logs trees and crap from oneida creek from all the flooding
