John I;m sure you will have a blast out there.. While there were tons of boats at times , others we were completely alone (and caught fish)..
We are rookies by all means but in only my bro-in-laws 3 time out the he caught fish (while I was along , hee hee)
A cool sight for the trip was seeing a fish on the surface on the finder then seeing a king rise .. Pretty neat in 100fow.. Often times I felt like we were going in circles.. Id look at the gps and sure enough we were doing large circles lol..
Some mishaps along the way : I lost both stacker clips for the riggers.. I have yet to catch anything on a stacker though...
The bummer was sitting in the estuary,, totally bummed out bottom fishing...
So today I seen just a few more salmon in estuary, nothing to get excited about but maybe 6-8 boils compared to 2 all day yesterday..
Everyone had fun, everyone caught a fish.. Goal accomplished..
I have to think a push should happen with a good surge of water but I'm quite content now to wait until sept 28 :)
Good luck to all that head out to chase their dreams :)

Her first ever Salmon.. It was fun !!

Ps:
I threw mine back to swim upriver :)

Yeah john, have a blast brother!!! Tuna nice fish buddy... sounds like a good trip. I have heard about low survival rate on catch and release in the lake though. Heck by the 28th we may have some decent chrome around at the rate things are going.

Clint, I wish they would've given us 335 a week ago for a day instead of an extra day this week. Water under the bridge at this point

Took a ride down to ball park this late afternoon. Quite a few guys with no fish. Blatant short casts with a hard rip was common. Don't understand it. Folks shoulg just set up in a productive looking spot and fish. They will catch more that way!!!!

I can certainly see a poor survival rate out there due to the way some fish are handled. Almost all boats kept trolling while pulling fish in. I like to take motor out of gear and fight the fish.
She swam away pretty feisty ... :)
The only floaters I seen were coming down the estuary from up river.
River fish being brought in to be cleaned looked pretty beat at this point
I'd say not much fresh has moved in lately.
That should change very soon :
Yup, that's the plan.. Net Jacks kings and fish for trout :) I'm sure he will find a few too :)

Nice fish.  I like to see them all chromed up.   I have  9/9 and 9/25 off.  Other than that it's weekend warrior only.   Have a few days around Columbus day,  but a trip may be in the works up on Chaumont bay or back to Sacandaga.

Wow, what an offer man!!! Thanks john but I don't think I can make it. I could take the day off job wise but can't quite afford to right now. Thanks so much though brother.
