Was kinda neat- this is the first year I havent put out salt and corn in the backyard just to get to watch them.- They stopped coming around a couple of years back and got tired of feeding Racoons and Crows.
 Tuesday morning was a real show and rather surprising.
 After a few years of not even buying a tag up there perhaps -if this continues- I may again next season. ( ct is loaded with deer no real need to look further- lol)

I always wanted to hunt CT given that I'm 20 minutes west of Danbury but I never checked it out.

Nice report Trevor.. Awesome to hear you did well in a relaxing setting.. Nothing beats outdoors activity when things remain mellow and the rewards are high .

Sheet, **** customers have kept me occupied, and then the vacation planned for a year. I was hoping to sneak in a day this week. Nope.   First of Oct. will be it for me,  or wait for cold  steel time . Glad you got in some high quality time, Trevor. Sounds absolutely great. 10 wt. is not too heavy, at all.   Backing is one of my favorite sights in the world....zhhhzzzzzzzzzhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Folks oughta read the Lake report- good stuff.
 Seems the largest provider of WILD Chinook to the lake is the Sr and over half the fish caught in SR  last season were wild. Twice as many -or more - than other tribs.
 Even with historic fishing pressure they get the job done.
 IMHO the wild East Coast Pacific Chinooks are evolving right before our very eyes lol.
