Didn't get up there till 1, lot was pretty full but knowone fishing the stretch I like. Started working the run from the top with the bright sun right on it, didn't see anything for the first 20 minutes then a hoe went shooting by. All the fish I saw were hoes and one brown most 3/4 of them were going full bore with no interest. 3 of them slammed my fly and then completely schooled me, did not put one on the shore but what a blast. Last was the best slammed it ran at me than back across than up than down with no stopping lost everything except 1 inch of my 20lb but section. Only fished about 3 hours probably saw 30 to 40 fish no kings and very few holding fish.

Guess I left too early.

Fished below town from sunup till 8:30.
Had a couple jings sliding around but wanting nothing I was offering.
I should mention I somehow left my 12# in the car so the 8# floro shouldn't have been a problem.

Went up to the tressle and ate an apple while watching the 8 or 10 guys "fishing".
One guy tight up between the pillars hooked 3 coho in about 15 minutes.
His buddy hooked one fish I didn't see.
Pretty stoked again I took off looking for some midriver water.
There were to guysfishing the root on my way down so kept going .
Swung my way down thru the open water no hits no runs It must have been an error in judgement.
Was nice getting to swing the open water there but that was all.
Didn;t see anything going by.
The sun was fully on the water making it clear as air.
Remembered I was old and tired and started out hoping to get a shot at the root on the way back.
No luck.
No one fishing but 3 guys staring glassing it.
Called it a day and went to Altmar to but some feathers and arctic fox tail.
Sat and chatted with Bob and Malinda for a couple hours before driving home.
All in all.
The fishing was great (no one near me all day).
The catching sucked.
The comoany was great.
Had a wonderfull time.

All I got was this guy and his little brother.
At least the SR tarpon were willing.
3fan hope my benz suv wasn't in your parking spot.
