Was wondering if anyone has been doing well so far this fall fishing for musky up in pymie?

There was a 54" musky caught on the south end just recently.

Hans: I was wondering the same thing. It seems, however, that we need to wait until this Sunday at 4:44:01 to ask that question. I was also curious as to when the turn over usually happens. I plan on heading up next week, I hope to have a report or two from that trip.

Does pmy stratify? I know the majority of that lake isn't deep enough to develop a cline, no cline, no turn over.

Good luck

I have been told by those that claim to have lived there for years that Pymy does turn over. I don't know and must defer to those that claim to know. I have not received any input telling me it doesn't, so all I have to go on is the input from a post reply that tells me it does.

StewFc: I much prefer spring 'eyes at Pyme, but the fall bite is also excellent. I cast Rapalas, the ones between 2" to 6", but mostly the larger ones at night while wading, much like spring fishing, rocky points, etc... . There is definitely a fall turnover and generally it's somewhere between the last week of September and the 1st week of October. I don't have the knowledge for your last question as I've never tried it in the fall, sorry. Hope this little bit helps.

Above was the reply I received.
