I am not looking for any specific spots... just info on whether or not
Tionesta's Browns move up into the tribs on spawning runs in the Fall?
Thanks,
Mike

I seriously doubt that...Tionesta creek gets too warm in the summer for holdovers...

We used to get some beautifully colored Browns in October while we were bowhunting near Barnes on Tionesta creek. Also some big Browns come into Kinzua creek in the fall.  sam

Crappie - thats further up than I've ever fished...

Does it stay cold enough up that way?

Wilbur, I would imagine that there is cool water entering any large stream from it's feeders & also springs & that the trout would migrate to them. I know of several native Brookie streams that enter the Tionesta that hold fish all year. Even in this area there are holdovers in the Loyalhanna for example.   sam

Theres alot of cold water up there and it stays cool in the summer from the woods and natural springs. A little exploring and youll find some nice trout. Fishing the creeks that flow into the river will have some browns.
