River is good all the way, buddy of mine fished ballpark on Friday and did really well, then fished my favorite spot up top yesterday and again saw steady action. You will do well.

John, what spot would that be??? ;)

Slab, the river is on fukking fire right now. I'm not gonna lie since its in to September now. I took a good friend from Syracuse this morning whos new to it and we slammed em... they weren't dime bright fish , they were nickel silver. It was not pods of 100+ moving at time but good pods of 5's to 20's based on our hookup rate. Just got. back from the port and it is alive down there... fish everywhere... like 3fan said the entire river is consistent with fish at this point. It is game on.

The best thing about this morning was very little pressure on the lower end for the first few hours. I think most guys were chasing the "monster run" that came in Thursday... we may be looking at a repeat of last year except even better because of the water levels.

Winds is all o er the place today.

All fish encountered are still wild strain and unfortunately I didn't see any of the cohoes I saw hitting water in the port last night. God blessed anyone who is up during the week this week... fish on!!!

Tuna: based on friends and family wanting to fish, our seasons may coincide ;)

Hook, enjoy brother... it is quite enjoyable and still early enough for low crowds during the week despite my river burning post...lol

Well looks like I'm out for another week.
Freaking 90 degrees.
It won't affect the fishing tomorrow morning but I would melt, get tired, fish halfassed and leave a sweaty mess by 10 A M.
Not going to drive for more time than I'm likely to actually fish.

Good luck to anyone getting after them.

was suppose to hit the lake today but didn't happen, headed up to my secret location with the fly swatter to beach some mudsharks. Took the day off and not even thinking of going there, oh well look out sharks!

I know what you're saying dimedeux but those kind of temps just wear me down in a hurry at this point in life.
A partner to trade energy with is one thing  but a solo go is tough on the perfect day now.
Maybe I will suprise myself.
I never really know what I'm going to end up doing.

3fan have at em buddy. If I hadn't played hooky on house work this weekend I'd meet ya back there but no can do... have a blast.

2B, I hear ya. I'm pretty shocked at the forecast myself. Luckily the buildings I'm working in are nice and cooled down so it shouldn't be too bad for me as I hate doing anything in the heat. May have to move to Alaska by the time I'm your age...lol

Keep your eye on the forecast through tonight... it could change hopefully

THanks guys. I hope I get a chance to come up this weekend. It will be either salmon or Erie walleye in Oh.
