John, what spot would that be??? ;)
Slab, the river is on fukking fire right now. I'm not gonna lie since its in to September now. I took a good friend from Syracuse this morning whos new to it and we slammed em... they weren't dime bright fish , they were nickel silver. It was not pods of 100+ moving at time but good pods of 5's to 20's based on our hookup rate. Just got. back from the port and it is alive down there... fish everywhere... like 3fan said the entire river is consistent with fish at this point. It is game on.
The best thing about this morning was very little pressure on the lower end for the first few hours. I think most guys were chasing the "monster run" that came in Thursday... we may be looking at a repeat of last year except even better because of the water levels.
Winds is all o er the place today.
All fish encountered are still wild strain and unfortunately I didn't see any of the cohoes I saw hitting water in the port last night. God blessed anyone who is up during the week this week... fish on!!!
Tuna: based on friends and family wanting to fish, our seasons may coincide ;)
