Thinking about putting the boat in at nebraska bridge launch and just wondering how deep is it there. I got a vhull and regular outboard motor. If it is deep enough also how far up would you think I would be able to go.

it would be pretty hard to take a boat under nebraska bridge to    go up the creek. water would have to be very low and then you can only get maybe 1/4 mile up creek if even that.in a canoe its a differant story

It can be a little tricky when the level is low. I have found 1087 ft too low to launch at Nebraska bridge. (As of today the level is 1089) There is a large mud flat just where the narrow channel starts to open up. Be careful, trees and logs get washed down and end up stuck in the mud. Not quite as bad as hitting a rock but still no fun. Also, the NO-Wake zone extends quite a ways down from the launch.

There is a primitive canoe launch above the bridge but as Apolloguy said you can't get up too far before it gets real shallow. Decent hole however. Let us know how the fishing is.
