I am posting this in the hopes it reaches a few eyes that may have been there over the course of this week or a few others that may choose to go there.   I  met my neighbor tonight who is DEC for this area and let him know of the circus that was going on up there.  He told me he would stop in and also ask a few of the other guys to go up there a bit more.   I thanked him kindly.     Lining a fish here and there is one thing, but this was blatant.  I had a guy next to me "help" me as he saw I was not hooking up alot.   Told me to put on more weight because there were sittin on the bottom.
 
He also said he has a drift boat and can never find anyone to go with him.   I told him I was usually free and would be happy to warm a seat even if he was a pinner  ;O)   

Clint,I saw a DEC guy getting out of his truck parked across from the church after I left you.I stopped and told him the "sweepers" were down there and they all have way over the weight limit.Did n't hang around to see if he actually nailed anyone.
I hope your neighbor and friends sweep in there and write a bunch up,I'm cheering for them!

Yea some yahoo  was in there  with a fly rod  spooled with mono too.

Ha.. I fished the lfz once with a spinning reel on a fly rod .Was wondering why nobody was fishing on that side of the bridge. Some guy yelled over , hey you can't fish over there .. The year was 1982 ..

Hope they can clean things up and I don't get asked to show my license 3 times in the day though. Lol

If you call guys that are lifting angling  how many more anglers would there be in the LFZ.

Well fished there today. There is some funny stuff happening for sue.
Most of it is just stealth and some obvious . Over all it was tolerable , and a few actually caught salmon , well .. I caught zero .. I hooked about 6 salmon , somewhere..

Now for the rest of the day.
Clint and company showed up as I was taking breakfast brake.
Jack showed up after lunch
We all fished the run together.
Jack some how has the magic trout bait. He gave me the secret fly and I instantly caught a stocked Atlantic .
Clint was making a last cast and caught a salmon.

I was at the LFZ Friday late afternoon....Saw one guy try to wedge in with spinning gear, he was informed and left promptly....The next guy shows up with fly gear and mono, like he though he was going to get away with it...I don't know if there's any signs in the parking lot but it's a mistake that can be made if your not sure of the law.

DEC made an appearance Sunday PM when we were there.   Checked weight and License of a few.
