Seems like after I shoot 50 or 75 bolts though it I have to mess with the scope . Noticed it was shooting about 2" low today again. No problem I just site it back in, noticed it shooting low again when I unloaded the other night. It's a PSE sidewinder #175 , shooting 100 gr broad heads ... Thanks for any info. ......Steve

PS....everything is tight, this is from when I first start shooting it again before the season starts ....lol...  not all at once

Check the crosshairs to see if they are cracked or separating inside the scope.

Does your crossbow have an aluminum rail ?   I had a barnett that changed with the heat and cold. Took 2 years to figure it out. I now shoot a ten point, never a problem.

String stretch??? Had a brand new bow that was thumpin good when it was new, seemed to get easier to draw back the more I shot it and had less of a thump. Had to redial the scope in a few times.

Well when ya think it can't get any worse ....it does !! first it was trouble keeping it sited in ,now this...  When I cocked my pse sidewinder #185 crossbow,  I noticed that both of the limbs had splinters in both limbs not sure how long they have been like this but I do know it isn't good. So my season is done glad it's only a few more days ....sure has been a crazy year. Bow is only 4 1/2 years old and I see under the warranty that it had full replacement limbs for a year, then 50% cost for replacements after that if you are the orginial owner. Bought it on Ebay ( new) and looked it up on my paypal account and printed it out. Now just waiting for the pse dealer to return my email.....Good luck all !

Well PSE finally fixed my crossbow after 4 months but hey like new again. It broke the last 2 weeks of bow season ..... Yep right at prime time! It was 4 1/2 yrs old then was not sure about the warranty as it states full replacement up to a year .... 50% replacement cost after that for life as long as I'm the original owner. The thing is they don't make that type anymore so the dealer was not sure what they would do ... So after some emails and complaining to PSE they replaced the whole front end.... Limbs, string, cams and foot piece for cocking it ... $125 and they put it together for me ..... Sure better then buying a new bow.... I'm a happy camper ! Even though we are waiting to get the boats out which I hope is soon ..... Figured I would this good news ....

BeenThereDoneThat.
Good deal Mopar, I been thinking new compound for next season, maybe I'll give PSE a little closer look.   No brainer about a new bow....  just need to think how I can get the better half to agree to it. (lol)
