Those will be knocked over the first drunken Thursday  night of trout season.  Those who don't fish for the weekend will finish the demolition.

That is a very admirable attitude to have! NOT!

Somebody takes their time to do something a little "different" and bring a small change to the scenery or to make another person take notice of the creek...and you bash them for it...NICE.

Maybe you would have rather seen them tossing dozens of beer cans and Sheetz cups along the shore?

Had I been passing by when they were constructing, I probably would have spent a bit of time and effort to participate!

bullshlt
someone took their time to move a bunch of rocks into eyesore piles
those aren't just little 5 rock stacks
the last thing i want to see when i'm enjoying the outdoors are signs of other people

the "i enjoy nature by disrupting it" was sarcasm

its just fine the way it is... the way people want to enjoy it
not with some goof-ball's rock piles

I'm sorry...I mis-read your intended sarcasm.

As the saying goes...an eyesore is in the eye of the beholder, or something like that!

But, don't fret...those eyesore rockpiles will be gone with the next flood or moved along with the February ice floes.

your lack of reading comprehension reflects your intellegence

i said "those aren't just little 5 rock stacks"
as is 5 (1,2,3,4,5) rocks in a stack
rather those are elaborate eyesores

altering nature for selfish purposes and impacting others enjoyment of it
just like writing/carving your name on a rock or tree

they really aren't hurting anyone or anything. the first major spring rainfall with snow melt and they will be gone.
it was neat to see, and not destructive. or as Loomis said, first drunken fishing trip, either way, they'll be gone next trout season, and the rocks will be back on the bottom of the creek where they belong.
